Hopefully you’ve enjoyed this beautiful (albeit, slightly breezy) Tuesday! We’ll keep things comfortable this evening, with temperatures steadily falling through the 50s, into the 40s and eventually to the mid 30s. Most of us will wake up between 35 and 40 degrees by tomorrow morning.
Clouds
increase overnight as well, and we have the potential for a few showers, mostly after midnight into very early Wednesday morning. Showers look like they’ll impact Bristol County (MA), the South Shore, the Cape and the Islands.
We’re in and out of the clouds throughout the rest of the day, but a second push of moisture will bring a few showers back to the area midday and into the evening. While these will be mainly rain, we can’t county out a little sleet and a few wet snowflakes later in the evening. Overall, moisture will be pretty scattered. High temperatures will be in the mid 40s to low 50s.
Thursday will be relatively bright– a few clouds, but far more sunshine. Highs will be in the upper 40s.
Our next cold front moves through Southern New England very late Thursday night into Friday morning. This will bring a few showers, but with limited moisture, those showers will taper off before the Friday morning commute. We’ll see a mix of sun and clouds Friday afternoon, and highs will be in the low to mid 50s.
The weekend looks…. unsettled. To be entirely honest, there’s still a lot about our weekend weather pattern that is still up for debate. That said, at the moment, it does look like low pressure will drive a few rounds of showers and a wintry mix both weekend days. We’ll keep you up to date on the situation throughout the week!
