INDIANAPOLIS — Overnight lane and ramp restrictions will be implemented on the Interstate 65/Interstate 465 interchange on the south side of Indianapolis this week. According to a press release from the Indiana Department of Transportation, the closures will allow crews work on overhead interst ate signs. The closures are expected to begin at 9 p.m. Tuesday and continue through 3 a.m. Saturday. The sign work will only impact one lane of traffic at a time on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The I-65 northbound ramp to I-465 will be closed from midnight to 3 a.m. on both Friday and Saturday. INDOT provided the following closure schedule in its press release: INDOT is encouraging all motorists planning to travel through the work zone to slow down, use extra caution and drive distraction-free.
