The next installment of “Bachelor in Paradise” will have a “golden” touch.
Stars from ABC’s wildly popular senior citizen-focused franchises, “The Golden Bachelor” and “The Golden Bachelorette,” will be featured in the summer spinoff series, where rejected contestants from various
seasons are transported to the beaches of Mexico to get another shot at finding love.
On Monday’s “After the Final Rose” special, host Jesse Palmer was joined by Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima to reveal the news about the 55-plus twist for the upcoming season of “Paradise.”
“For the first time ever, golden men and women will be hitting the beaches of paradise alongside all of your ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ favorites from seasons past, and I don’t know if I’ve ever been more excited for anything ever,” Palmer said.
Fhima, a fitness instructor from Minneapolis, was Gerry Turner‘s runner-up on the first season of “The Golden Bachelor” — and famously revealed that she once dated Prince.
Levingston is a retired finance executive from Palm Desert, Calif., who was eliminated in the fourth episode of Joan Vassos’ inaugural season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
Zoe McGrady, who made it to the final four with Grant Ellis on the most recent season of “The Bachelor,” was also announced to take a trip to “Paradise.”
Jonathan Johnson and Hakeem Moulton, who competed on Jenn Tran’s season of “The Bachelorette,” were previously confirmed to be joining the cast when the show returns for its 10th season later this year. A premiere date has not yet been announced. ...read more read less
