WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - The Kansas State Fire Marshal's Office (KSFM) has been requested to investigate a fatal fire at the Home on the Range Lodging Motel in Smith Center. The motel is located at 740 U.S. Highway 36 on the northeast side of town. The two special agents from KSFM, along with a Sedgwick County canine, will assist in the fire investigation. The agents just arrived at the scene. KHP: Trooper rescues kidnapped 6-year-old girl KSN News has reached out to learn more about the fire and the victims.
