ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Legal professionals in Albuquerque are gearing up to bring community members free legal assistance with the annual Law-La-Palooza fair. At the event, attendees can get free legal advice on a wide range of topics, like divorce, custody, child support, unemployment, landl ord/tenant, creditor/debtor, and more from The Volunteer Attorney Program and the Second Judicial District Pro Bono Committee. This year's fair will be held on Friday, March 28, at the Dennis Chavez Community Center at 715 Kathryn Avenue. Family law consultations will be provided from 9 a.m. until noon, and civil law consultations will be available from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Applications open for Albuquerque’s ‘Artists At Work’ initiative Bilingual attorneys and staff will be available, and help for all will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
