BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) — A public meeting covering the first phase of a local construction project will be held Thursday evening. This is the second meeting for phase I of the Isleta Boulevard Reconstruction Project in the area of Malpais Road to Luchetti Road. Albuquerque mayor f iles complaint against city council over AFR staffing ordinance The meeting is being held at Los Padillas Community Center from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The county said it will give community members updates on construction timeframes, as well as a look into current design plans and the project's schedule. “Public input is crucial as we progress with this important infrastructure project in the South Valley,” said Deputy County Manager of Public Works Elias Archuleta in a news release. “We encourage all community members to attend this meeting to remain involved and informed of the project’s progress as we continue this important work in the South Valley.” The project is a collaboration between Bernalillo County, the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT), and the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) that aims to improve safety and accessibility.
