MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — A bicyclist was struck by an SUV in a hit-and-run accident Sunday night in Middletown, according to police. The incident occurred at approximately 6:10 p.m. Sunday in front of the plaza at 999 West Main Road when a silver or gray SUV-style vehicle struck a bicyclist. The operator of the SUV continued driving after the collision.
