INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Two of the biggest names in indie rock are bringing their co-headline tour to Indianapolis this summer. The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse will stop at Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park on Monday, Aug. 11, along with special guest Friko. Tickets go on s ale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday via livenation.com. Special artist presales will start on Wednesday. This will be The Flaming Lips’ first U.S. shows since they toured with Weezer and Dinosaur Jr. last year. The band also recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of “Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots” with an expanded edition of the album. Modest Mouse went on tour in 2024 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their album “Good News For People Who Love Bad News.” The band played the record from start to finish at each concert date.
