Today will bring more clouds than sunshine, along with weak shower chances throughout the day. This morning, most areas stay dry, as clouds lower and thicken in spots. Temperatures will hover in the lower 40s and upper 30s. Overall, a fairly quiet, dry and cool start out-the-door at sunrise.
This afternoon, clouds will dominate most of the area with limited, to no sunshine, working in. Shower chances remain low too, with the steadiest falling mainly in our southern half of the state. Due to the northwesterly flow at 8-15 mph and heavier clouds, expect temperatures slightly under seasonal, with highs in the lower 50s.
More of the same should be expected both Wednesday and Thursday before steadier rains return late Thursday and into Friday morning, along a warm front.
Friday through Sunday will bring a return to spring warmth, as highs reach the 70s each day! Steadier rain and possible storms will round out the weekend on Sunday, before a stronger cold front arrives by early Monday morning.
