HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - A month-long investigation by Holyoke Police detectives has led to the arrest of 45-year-old Luis Rodriguez-Martinez in connection with multiple alleged sexual assaults of a child. Rodriguez-Martinez was taken into custody on Friday, March 14, at approximately 3:45 p.m. at an apartment on Spring Street. His arrest follows an extensive investigation led by Detective Melissa Rex, who obtained a Holyoke District Court arrest warrant for him earlier that day. Holyoke Detectives located Rodriguez-Martinez at 10 Spring Street and placed him under arrest without incident. Due to the sensitive nature of the case, authorities have not released further details about the ongoing investigation.
