ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – UNM Football held its annual Pro Day at University Stadium on Monday. Eight former Lobos participated in the festivities with three NFL scouts in attendance.
Coming off of a solid performance at this year's Shrine Bowl, running back Andrew Henry had a solid showing a
t UNM's pro day and is optimistic about his playing future. "I feel like there was a question about my speed, and I feel like me getting that 4.4-40 really limited that question, and my broad was a 10.5, so that shows my explosion. The East West Shrine Bowl was a big moment for me and this was just the icing on the cake," said Andrew Henry.
Cornerback Cam Watts also showcased his skills well in front of scouts on Monday, and while he still has the rest of this year's track season to run he is excited about his future in football. "From the vertical to the 40, I feel like I surprised myself. I didn't think that I was going to go jump 39 and I jumped 39, I ran a 4.29. So, I am happy with what I did today. Arizona is really interested, I talked a little bit to the Lions, and Green Bay wanted me to stay after and catch punts. I have never caught punts before, but I'll do anything to help me get to the league," said Cam Watts. ...read more read less
