ATWATER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - A teenager was hospitalized after being shot in Atwater on Friday, the Atwater Police Department said. Officers say they responded to the area of Determine Drive and Nashua Street on Friday at around 5:50 p.m. after receiving a report of shots being fired. Upon a rrival, the police department says responding officers found a teenage victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The teenager was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive. This is an ongoing investigation.
