HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - Four tobacco stores in Hanford were issued citations following an operation designed to crack down on stores selling illegal products. According to the Hanford Police Department, officers identified the four stores during an inspection of multiple businesses. Off icers reported finding illegal flavored tobacco products, including flavored e-cigarettes, menthol cigarettes, flavored cigars and cigarillos, as well as hookah and shisha in establishments allowing access to individuals under 21. The products were seized - as well as illegal cigarettes confiscated. The stores that were cited were: Sal’s Tobacco at 110 N. 11th Ave. Blue Cloud Smoke Shop at 308 W. Lacey Blvd. Sam’s Smoke Shop at 11635 S. 10th Ave. Sky High at 8679 Lacey Blvd. According to the Hanford Police Department, businesses found selling illegal tobacco products may face fines, citations, and further enforcement actions. ...read more read less
