WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a trailer was stolen from a West Warwick church's parking lot last week. The West Warwick Police Department announced in a social media post that a 2006 Shadow Master trailer was taken from the Christian Hills Community Church's parking lot last Thursday. The trailer was taken sometime in the early morning. Police said someone backed a Dodge Ram pickup truck up toward the trailer without activating its lights. (Courtesy: West Warwick Police Department) The suspect then hopped out of the truck and quickly attached the trailer to it before leaving the parking lot and driving down Tiogue Avenue. The trailer contained a number of the church's belongings, according to police. Anyone with information regarding the stolen trailer is asked to contact the West Warwick Police Department Detective Division by calling (401) 827-9044. This is not the first time the Christian Hills Community Church has been targeted. Police arrested a 14-year-old boy last November after he smashed the windows out of the church's school bus and pried open two sheds out back.
