HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) -- The U.S. Coast Guard responded to a water rescue in Hampton Monday afternoon, according to Petty Officer Christine Bills. Around 1:35 p.m., officials were alerted of a 35-foot sailboat taking on water, near Ivory Gull Crescent. Two people were on the vessel.
