'Put him to sleep': Man, woman face attempted murder charge in stabbing

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A man and woman each face a count of attempted murder and other felony charges after reportedly restraining, beating and stabbing another man, according to Allen Superior Court documents.
On Saturday, police arrived at a home in the 1900 block of Hobson Road and hear mu
ltiple people shouting, including a woman saying, "I had to restrain him," and a man shouting "help me."
Officers entered the home and found one of the suspects, identified as 19-year-old Dante Williams, restraining a man while the woman, identified as 42-year-old Pam Williams stood near them.

The man being restrained told police he had been stabbed and that a metal blade had been broke off inside his body. During an interview with police at a hospital, the man reportedly said he had returned home after being gone most of the day when Pam constantly confronted him about an unknown topic. Eventually, Dante grabbed the man and held him while Pam hit the man multiple times with a clothes hanger rod, according to court documents.
During the incident, Pam reportedly told Dante to "put him to sleep" and that they were going to "kill that m***********."
At some point, Pam also reportedly stabbed the man, and court documents indicated the man suffered three stab wounds to the back near his lower spine, two broken ribs and several abrasions and cuts to his head.
The man was initially taken to a hospital in serious condition before later being listed in stable condition.
Both Dante and Pam face the same charges:
Attempted Murder (Level 1 felony)
Aggravated Battery (Level 3 felony)
Two counts of Criminal Confinement (Level 3 felony)
