EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A 19-year-old man was killed when he struck a boulder and electrical poles in Northwest El Paso, causing his vehicle to roll over and catch fire, El Paso Police said. The crash happened at about 1:30 a.m. Saturday, March 22 along the 7800 block of Enchanted Springs. Vehicle strikes power lines, catches fire in Northwest El Paso The 19-year-old driver, whom police are still working on identifying, was traveling along the road at a high rate of speed, failed to stay on the road, and hit a large boulder and electric poles, police said. The collision caused the vehicle to roll and catch fire. The driver died at the scene.
