COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A man wanted in connection with the attempted murder of a 19-year-old in Walterboro has been arrested. Anjay Savavon Williams, 18, was arrested Monday, according to the Colleton County Sheriff’s Office. Details about his arrest were not immediately available. His arrest comes days after the sheriff’s office began investigating an incident on Bee Drive where two armed suspects ran onto a property, dressed in all black, and opened fire at the victim. The 19-year-old was shot multiple times in the yard. He was flown to Trident Medical Center’s trauma center for treatment. Williams was identified as a suspect during the investigation. He is being charged with attempted murder.
