(NewsNation) — A search is underway for a Phoenix yoga instructor who went missing after a blind date more than a month ago.
Marcus Freiberger, 45, was last seen in a local parking garage Feb. 22. He was supposed to meet a blind date the day before, but whether he met with that person is unknow

Freiberger was teaching classes at Melrose Yoga for a few months and was becoming a popular instructor at the studio.
"He's a super young man, and he's the most personable individual, and when you speak to his friends, they’ll tell you he’s just a magnet," his father, Dutch Freiberger, told a local news outlet.

His father said Marcus had a history of substance abuse and that he was between apartments before he went missing.
Freiberger's dog, Thomas, was left alone for several days. His father said it was something he would never do.
Forrest Kruger, the owner of Melrose Yoga, told the outlet Freiberger was an excellent instructor and had a lot of friends.
"Where is he? What happened to him? He was making progress and doing all these great things and getting ahead in life, which is making him happy," Kruger said.
Freiberger was last seen driving a 2021 white GMC Sierra pickup truck with an Arizona license plate reading 3MA66L.
