BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Elk Ridge Elementary students are going to give back to the local homeless community this Friday after raising money earlier in the year. Students from the school's Trailblazers club held a drive earlier this year for toiletry items and other products for those in need. After having a hot cocoa fundraiser, the Trailblazers raised $600 to spend on additional items. The students will shop at Target and then take all of the items they buy to the Missouri Slope United Way.
