AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A much quieter Monday continues with mostly clear skies and light wind into this evening. A very isolated storm is possible in Gillespie County and Blanco County, but 95% of the
area sees no rain tonight.
The rest of tonight will be mostly clear, but warm for this time of year as lows only drop into the low 60s by daybreak.

A warm wind on Tuesday will push temperatures into their hottest readings of the week with low 90s on the way for much of the area on Tuesday afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny with humidity also increasing to muggy levels later in the day.
Highs on Tuesday
An upper level low approaching from the west-southwest will bring more clouds to the area on Wednesday and a low (10%) rain chance to the area.
This low brings much more moisture in the form of widespread rain on Thursday and Friday. Rain coverage peaks Thursday night and Friday morning, so it may take a little while to get started, but this could be our wettest two day stretch of the year so far.
Increasingly wet weather on Thursday
Rainfall estimates continue trending up with many areas seeing at least 1" total between Thursday and Friday.
A level 2 out of 4 flash flood risk is in place for Austin and southeast for Thursday into the first few hours of Friday.
Flash Flood Risk Thursday into early Friday
Generally this rain will be beneficial, but some localized flash flooding could be possible with localized 3-4" totals possible.
Drier, but not completely dry, weather returns by late Friday and into next weekend.
