2 arrested in Hanford after shots fired; bullet hole found in car

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two people were arrested after Hanford Police responded to a shots fired call Thursday.
Police say on March 20 they were dispatched to the 300 block of west Myrtle Street following reports of gunshots heard.
Officers say they found a parked vehicle with a bul
let hole in the front windshield.
Witnesses reported seeing two people leaving the area shortly after the gunshots were fired.
Officers say they located 29-year-old Maria Rodriguez and 31-year-old Andres Valenzuela a few blocks away, near Park and Elm Streets.
Police say Rodriguez was found with a loaded firearm concealed. The firearm was registered to Valenzuela, who was also found in possession of a second magazine, loose ammunition, and spent shell casings.
Officers report Rodriguez was arrested for suspicion of conspiracy, possession of a concealed firearm, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person, and an outstanding warrant.
