ORANGE, Mass. (WWLP) - Two men were arrested after shots were fired in an apartment in Orange on Sunday. Shooting at Brockton Mall leaves two teens dead On Sunday, Shelburne Control received a 911 call about shots fired at 50 East Main Street in Orange. The caller stated that multiple shots were being fired and a window was blown out on the second floor of the building. When officers arrived, they found broken glass and a screen with apparent bullet holes on the ground before entering the building. Once the officers were inside, they made sure that all the residents of a second-floor apartment were safe and secured. After overcoming a language barrier with Easthampton Police Detective Rivera acting as a translator, the apartment was occupied by two adult men, a woman, and an infant. MAP: 50 East Main Street in Orange After an investigation was conducted, the officers had no reason to believe that the shots were fired toward a person. This incident is an example of severe recklessness that thankfully did not result in any injuries.
