HAMPTON COUNTY, S.C. (WSAV) - The Hampton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) has arrested two people following the execution of a narcotics search warrant. HCSO executed the search warrant on Woodberry Lane near the Brunson area. During the operation, a live grenade was discovered. The specialized ex plosive unit was immediately requested. As a result of the investigation, the following individuals have been arrested: David Madison Freeman, 42, Brunson, SC was arrested on nine General Sessions bench warrants and additionally charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. Marina Nicole Ulmer, 41, Brunson, SC was charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Controlled Substance. "This operation demonstrates the dangers our deputies face daily while working to keep our community safe. I am grateful for their courage and expertise in handling this high-risk situation.
