LIST: Ski resort closing dates in New Mexico and southern Colorado

NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – Ski season is coming to a close at resorts in New Mexico and southern Colorado. For at least one business, Ski Santa Fe, the closure comes a week early due to "unusually warm temperatures and rapidly diminishing snow conditions."

losure dates for the 2024-2035 season. (Note: Some closing dates may be tentative. Check with the resort before going.)
Pajarito Mountain: March 29
Ski Santa Fe: March 30

Sipapu: April 6
Taos Ski Valley: April 6
Telluride Ski Resort: April 6
Wolf Creek Ski Area: April 6
Purgatory: April 20 (Some lifts closing before then. See below)
March 23: Last day of operations for Legends Express (Lift 8), Grizzly Double (Lift 5), Twilight Double (Lift 4), B4 Magic Carpet, and Dante’s Lodge.
March 30: Hermosa Park Express (Lift 3) should be running through March 30 or until the creek at the bottom becomes impassable, whichever comes first. Columbine base area (Graduate Lift 7, Columbine Lift 9, and the Columbine Carpet also will run through this day.
Purgatory Express (Lift 1) and Engineer Double (Lift 2) will run Friday-Sunday, until April 20, while conditions permit.
