CHICKAHSA, Okla. (KFOR) - The City of Chickasha is giving its citizens some assistance with spring cleaning with two events. Residents participating in the garage sale can expec t no permits or fees to participate. The City of Chickasha says, residents are allowed to advertise for sales with signage on their own property and must be removed when sale is over, according to the City. Items can include large bulky items that are not appropriate for curbside pickup. Details for the Spring Clean Up Event: Location: Public Works Address: 502 N. Genevieve Street Residents or businesses seeking to use the dumpsters will need to do the following: show a copy of their City of Chickasha water bill if you live in Chickasha city limits but do not have a water bill A ticket can be obtained at City Hall. Drop off will be between 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on May 14 through May 16, and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on May 17.
