KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One person was shot Monday morning near downtown Kansas City, according to law enforcement. Just after 8 a.m., officers with the Kansas City Police Department were called to a shooting in the area of West 7th Street and Main Street. One seriously injured in shooting ne ar 84th, The Paseo in Kansas City When officers arrived, they found a person who had been shot. KCPD said the victim was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. The cause of the shooting is still under investigation.
