Students enrolled in the P-TECH education pathway across Dallas ISD were recently awarded letters of intent in recognition of their commitment and dedication to pursuing careers in education. This prestigious milestone marks a significant step in each student’s professional journey. The letter o f intent guarantees future employment with Dallas ISD, offering a starting salary of at least $61,000 upon completion of both a bachelor’s degree and state teaching certification. Students are also eligible for a $3,000 new teacher hiring incentive, critical shortage area incentives, and a $5,000 SPED-self-contained incentive, along with benefits.
