Red Leg Brewing Company holds event appreciating first reponders

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Red Leg Brewing Company, a veteran-owned and operated craft brewery is holding a special "First Responder Appreciation Night" to express gratitude to the courageous men and women who risked their lives to extinguish the recent Blair Bridge Open Space Fire.
On Thursday, Marc
h 13 the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) was called to the Blair Bridge Open Space near Garden of the Gods Road and 30th Street due to a grassfire. CSFD was able to contain the fire to 20 acres.
Red Leg Brewing Company will hold the first responder appreciation night at their Colorado Springs location at 2323 Garden of the Gods Road. The event will be held on Wednesday, March 26 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event will feature complimentary drinks, food, and an opportunity for the community to mingle with local fire, police, and emergency response teams.

Following the appreciation event Red Leg Brewing Company will be the location for a community meeting which will run from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. where CSFD will discuss fire-mitigation with the community. ...read more read less
