12 displaced by fire at rooming house on Chadduck Avenue

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A dozen people were displaced by a fire on Monday morning at a large home with multiple residences on Chadduck Avenue, according to Buffalo fire officials.
Crews responded to 194 Chadduck Ave. just before 9:30 a.m. The fire started at an apartment on the second floor of t
he house and was confined to that room.
Damages are estimated at a total of $70,000. The residents who were displaced are working with the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
