2 arrested in Maryland after burglary at gun store in Fairfax County, police say

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) -- Fairfax County police said two teenagers were taken into custody after they allegedly stole guns from a store in Springfield early Monday morning.
The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) told DC News Now that just before 1:30 a.m. on March 24, officers res
ponded to Dominion Defense in the 7200 block of Fullerton Road for a burglary.

Once on the scene, police learned that multiple people had broken into the store and taken several guns before driving away in a vehicle.
As the investigation continued, police learned the suspected vehicle was stopped in Montgomery County, Md. and two people were arrested.
Police noted that several guns were found in the car.
On Monday morning, glass was shattered in front of the gun store, and police tape blocked off the entrance.

Investigators told DC News Now that they are searching for a third person in connection with the burglary.
Fairfax County police are working closely with the Montgomery County Department of Police in the investigation.
This is the third time the Dominion Defense gun shop has been broken into since September 2024, according to FCPD. ...read more read less
