HOPEWELL, Va. (WRIC) -- After a threat was allegedly made against Patrick Copeland Elementary School in a YouTube video, Hopewell City Public Schools has announced that there is "no indication of an immediate threat." In a social media post on Sunday, March 23, the school system said a parent alert ed school officials to a YouTube video that made a threat against Patrick Copeland Elementary School for June 3. The post said the school division's administration and school security team immediately began investigating, and a parent shared the video with the Hopewell Police Department. Hopewell City Public Schools said the video had since been deleted, and though an investigation is ongoing, there is "no indication of an immediate threat at this time."
