Woman shot during axe, gun fight in southwest Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — Police have arrested two people following an altercation, turned shooting, involving an axe and a gun on Sunday south of downtown Fort Wayne.
The Fort Wayne Police Department initially responded to a disturbance in the 2500 block of Broadway, before learning that a sh
ooting occurred at the location.
Upon investigation, officers found evidence of a fight. In a release from FWPD, police said they believe the altercation between Rudaeja Moore and Andrew Scott-Guyton escalated with one of them wielding an axe and the other a gun.
Moore was shot in the leg during the fight, and in the course of the investigation, police arrested both Moore and Scott-Guyton.
Moore has been preliminarily charged with Criminal Recklessness (Level 6 Felony), two counts of Domestic Battery (Level 6 Felony), Invasion of Privacy (A Misdemeanor), and Criminal Mischief (A Misdemeanor).
Scott-Guyton, on the other hand, faces one count of Criminal Recklessness (Level 6 Felony).
