Aurora police shot and injured a man early Monday morning, the department said. No officers were injured. The man who was shot was taken to a nearby hospital. The entrance to Sunny Side Condominiums was blocked off, but no stree ts in the area were shut down in response to the shooting, Denver7's Allie Jennerjahn reported.Aurora police said officers were called to a suspicious incident in the area of S. Elkhart Way near E. Mississippi Avenue and Sable Boulevard around 3:15 a.m. APD did not explain what led up to officers shooting at the man. The public information officer for the department is headed to the scene of the shooting to provide more details on what happened. Denver7 has a team on the way as well.
