ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A man has died after he was shot on Clifford Avenue Sunday night, according to the Rochester Police Department. The investigation shut down a portion of Clifford Avenue in Rochester Sunday, which was blocked by several officers at Spiegel Pk, near the Sanaa Food Market . RPD was reportedly called to the scene around 6 p.m. Sunday. News 8 arrived on the scene around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, where Clifford Avenue remained closed for the investigation. (WROC/Melanie Sosa.) Rochester’s Op Shop burglarized – door smashed, register stolen The man was found by officers on the scene shot at least once. He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injury, according to police. On Monday morning, RPD confirmed his death. No suspects are currently in custody, police said.
