BRUNSWICK COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- 21-year-old Jukwanta Demond Nicholson has been identified as the driver in today's deadly Brunswick County Crash. The crash happened at approximately 4:03 a.m., March. 23, on 1167 Old Bridge Rd, East of Liberty Road, after reports came in about a single vehicle cras h with life threatening injuries. Photo courtesy of: Virginia State Police Photo courtesy of: Virginia State Police Once at the scene troopers found a 2008 Grand Marquis in the middle of the road with extensive damages where the driver was also pronounced dead. According to Virginia State Police (VSP) the preliminary investigation into the crash revealed that, Nicholson was traveling in the westbound lanes of Old Stage Road when he then ran off the roadway and struck several large trees on the passenger side. Nicholson was not wearing his seatbelt when the crash occurred, and succumbed to his injuries after impact.
