EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- A motorcyclist was seriously hurt when they collided with a vehicle Sunday afternoon, March 23 in far East El Paso, an El Paso Fire spokesperson said. A vehicle and a motorcycle collided a little after 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Vista Del Sol and Paseo Grande Street. The moto rcyclist was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries (Code 3), the Fire spokesperson said. The Sheriff's Office is the lead responding agency investigating the crash. A spokesperson with El Paso County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the motorcyclist was seriously hurt. They also said a passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital for evaluation. Both eastbound and westbound traffic at the crash site is expected to be closed off for about five hours while the investigation continues. This was the second serious crash in far East El Paso on Sunday.
