ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – A man was hospitalized Sunday evening after he was shot on Clifford Avenue, according to the Rochester Police Department. The investigation shut down a portion of Clifford Avenue in Rochester Sunday, which was blocked by several officers at Spiegel Pk. near the Sanaa Food Market. RPD was reportedly called to the scene around 6 p.m. Sunday. News 8 arrived on the scene around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, where Clifford Avenue remained closed for the investigation. (WROC/Melanie Sosa.) He was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injury, according to police, though his status was not immediately made available. No suspects are currently in custody, police said.
