CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- The Chesapeake Fire Department is investigating a house fire in the Portlock section of the city. On Sunday afternoon, firefighters responded to a report of a structure fire in the 1200 block of Keats Station at approximately 1:55 p.m. Upon arrival, crews reported sm oke and flames visible at the front of the house. The fire was extinguished and marked under control around 2:10 p.m. The residents were not home at the time. Due to the significant structural damage, the occupants will be displaced.
