KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- One man is dead following an early morning shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, the Kansas City Police Department says. KCPD says that around 2:30 a.m., officers arrived at the scene in the 7800 block of North Oak Trafficway where several people were trying to save the life of a n adult man. The man, who had multiple gunshot wounds, was taken to an area hospital by EMS with critical injuries. At around 7 a.m., KCPD says the victim died from his injuries. KCPD says no suspects have been identified yet. Crime scene personnel and detectives are gathering evidence and witness statements.
