We continue to track chilly March days across northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio. Have the coat still handy as we wrap up the weekend and progress into the new workweek. We are tracking rain showers ahead of and along a cold front this evening. Take the umbrella with you for your Sunday evening plans. Rain showers continue this evening.Shower chances continue before midnight. After midnight, most of the rain should be out of the picture, with total amounts less than a quarter of an inch when all is said and done. We'll then see partly cloudy skies and elevated winds for the remainder of the night; look for gusts as high as 30 mph. Overnight lows will drop into the mid-30s. Clouds decrease after midnight as rain chances end.Temperatures fall into the 30s. The big story then on Monday will be the strong winds that follow Sunday's weather system. We could see gusts as high as 45 mph. Make sure you take steps to secure any loose outdoor objects and hold onto your hats! Skies will be mostly cloudy and there may be a few spotty showers out there, especially north of Fort Wayne. Highs will reach only the mid-40s to begin the workweek. Wind gusts up to 45 mph are possible on Monday.Spotty precipitation is possible too on Monday.High temperatures vary from 40° to 50° north to south.Skies clear as Monday evening goes on. We will track a few rain showers associated with a weak system later in the day Tuesday. Perhaps a few snowflakes mix in early Tuesday night before the system exits. Highs will be in the 40s yet again. Tuesday begins with temperatures as low as the 20s.Clouds increase into the day.Light rain chances return during the afternoon/evening. Wednesday will be our last day in the 40s before we warm back up. We're set to soar into the 50s and even 60s for the remainder of the week.
