EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- Happy Sunday, El Paso! So far, this weekend has been beautiful and although warm, it's been very calm. We can expect these conditions to continue through Tuesday as much of the Borderland region remains dry. Monday’s high will be near 82 with a low around 50. We can ex pect a warmer Tuesday, with a high near 88 and low around 59.  Conditions do shift Wednesday and Thursday, however, with a slight chance for rain showers and afternoon thunderstorms entering the forecast. El Paso will see highs in the low 80s and lows near 55 both of these days. The skies will be partly cloudy, with some light winds. Currently, chances for showers are likely around noon, followed by thunderstorms in some areas on Wednesday. Overnight, chances for precipitation remain around midnight. As for Thursday, a very similar timeline with more or less the same conditions.   Temperatures rise once again on Friday to the mid-80s. We’ll see mostly sunny skies before dropping to an overnight low near 55.  Next weekend will almost mirror this weekend where we see sunny skies and light breezes, temperatures still remaining above average into the next workweek.  ...read more read less
