"This production of 'Oliver!' is really coming together in a way that reflects the skill and energy of the Minot community," Eads said. "Our cast of nearly 40 performers includes youth from grades 4-12, MSU college students, and adults — each bringing something unique to the table. We will also feature the gifted dancers from the Institute of Dance and Ballet Theater, led by Mr. Rinat Mouzafarov, as well as the incredible costume designs of Dr. DeVera Bowles, both of which will add a strong visual element. In addition, we have an outstanding 15-piece orchestra made up of musicians from MSU and the community. It's a diverse and dedicated group, and I'm proud to be working with such committed performers. I'm confident this production will be something you won't want to miss."
The story follows a young orphan who's navigating the harsh realities of Victorian London, looking for love and a place to call home. But under the adventure and songs is a deeper story of survival, kindness, and bonds that shape our lives.
Adult tickets are $35, $30, or $25, and kids 17 and under are $10. MSU can get in free with their valid MSU ID, and a military discount is available for those with an active ID when purchased at the door.
You can get tickets at the door or online.
