1: Witnesses testify about Nichole Rice ‘confessions’ during murder trial. The Nichole Rice murder trial wrapped up for the week early on March 21 and is in re
cess until Monday, March 24 at 8:30 a.m. Rice is accused of killing roommate Anita Knutson in a Minot apartment in 2007. Trial activity Friday was limited to four witnesses, with two claiming Rice had "confessed" to them about the killing.

3: Police find over 50 alcohol containers in man’s vehicle who’s driving with kids. A man in Bismarck is now facing jail time after police say he was driving drunk with two children in the car. When an officer searched the man's vehicle, he says he found over 50 empty alcohol containers in the center console and the driver's side door. 48 of them were single-shot whiskey containers and the other four were cans of beer.
4: Wage theft is costing ND workers thousands. Some North Dakota workers are putting in long hours, but aren’t getting the pay they’ve earned. Employers are shorting paychecks, denying overtime, and even taking money directly from workers without their knowledge. It’s called wage theft, and it’s leaving many struggling to make ends meet.
5: Kenmare man dies in crash near Palermo. A 21-year-old man from Kenmare died in a crash near Palermo. The 21-year-old was driving a Volvo semi hauling a tanker trailer south on 73rd St NW when he failed to negotiate a curve in the road near 66th St NW. The semi entered the ditch and rolled, the Kenmare man was pronounced dead on scene.
