VICTOR, N.Y. (WROC) – CooperVision in Victor hosted its Student Leadership Society Summit at its headquarters on Sunday to celebrate World Optometry Day. Dozens of optometry students representing 26 schools and colleges of optometry across the United States and Canada attended. World Optometry Day is celebrated every year on March 23 highlighting the essential role of optometrists in providing vision care. Students got the opportunity to receiving training on achieving the best vision correction, enhance their clinical skills with hands-on contact lens fitting workshops, hear insight into preparing for graduating and starting their careers.
