PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) -- An early morning fire at a triple-decker home in Providence is under investigation. According to Providence Fire Battalion Chief Jay Viens, they received a call just before 6 a.m. for a report of a fire at a home on the 100 block of Chad Brown St. When they arrived o n scene, there was fire coming from the back of the building. It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put the fire out. One person was taken to Rhode Island Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
