Standoff in Two Rivers ends in arrest after juvenile female stabbed in the chest

TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) - After a brief standoff in Two Rivers on Saturday night, a 22-year-old suspect was taken into custody in connection to a juvenile female allegedly being stabbed in the chest.
A Facebook post from the Two Rivers Police Department details the incident that began around 10 p
.m. on March 22 when officers were called to the 1800 block of 21st Street for reports of a stabbing.
Authorities from the Two Rivers PD and Manitowoc County Sheriff's Office responded and remained at the scene until S.W.A.T. could be deployed.

After a brief standoff authorities took the suspect, 22-year-old Dominic M. Liggins, into custody for Recklessly Endangering Safety, Physical Abuse of a Child, False Imprisonment, and Bail Jumping.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
