Madison Township Police Department is investigating an incident that resulted in a man being shot multiple times. Township police were dispatched to the 2900 block of McMackin Road at 5:30 p.m. March 21 for a complaint of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers learned that two males at the location were i nvolved in a physical altercation, a township Police Department news release stated. That altercation resulted in one of the males sustaining multiple gunshot wounds. Both subjects were transported to local hospitals for their injuries. The male who received the gunshot wounds was last listed in stable condition, the news release stated. An investigation is ongoing and the names of the males have not yet been released by police.
