Attendees bid on the participants in a
n effort to be the highest bidder and receive not only a date package, but to give to a greater cause.
The 25 bachelors featured in the auction included those who work in law enforcement, technology, advertising, and business. Interestingly, the auction included a sommelier and spa owner.
All funds collected from ticket sales and bidding are donated to the Cancer Support Community at Gilda's. The organization has contributed to the community since 1935 and continues to provide support to those diagnosed with cancer and their families. Donations support their work to provide free emotional, social, and mental health support programs for individuals.

Conor Mckenna and Tim Ambrosetti are co-chairs of the auction and shared their excitement for bringing people together in a creative way. "We like to call this the biggest party of the year in Rochester. Cancer is not a fun illness, and we try to make light of this situation." Ambrosetti said.
Mckenna expressed the collaborative effort as a highlight of the event. "Every dollar matters, every person matters in this community, and to see Rochester come together to support our members, our mission, to support the services we provide is just fantastic."
