COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (WANE) — Imagine having your first date, engagement and wedding at the same place. A picture of the wedding. Newly married Andy and Amy Goss don't have to. On Saturday they lived it during their wedding at Moo-Over, an ice cream shop in Columbia City. "We met here abo ut eight or nine months ago... we talked for five hours," Andy said. "It all came after a tragedy, I lost my wife in January and she lost her husband to cancer. This was a neat place to meet up." Movies, concerts and more ice cream shared led to a joint realization. "Last Fall we decided, 'you know I could really spend the rest of my life with you." and started making plans," Andy said. "We came here one day, and I proposed here." The couple decided that they had big weddings in the past, and a small ceremony in the place where they met would be a special way to commit their lives to one another.
